We have worked with Kirsten twice in the past eight years, both of which were fantastic experiences. She listens well and has an astounding eye for detail. Her ability to be creative and think outside the box while staying within budget is definitely an asset to have in a designer. We would highly recommend her to anyone, and have in fact done so!

We worked with Dow-Pearce Design on the design and construction of our home. DPd was involved in every step of the process, from the initial design to interior design and furniture selection. Kirsten helped us ensure that the look and feel that we put on paper became a reality. Relationships are important to DPd and Kirsten made every effort to understand not only our family’s quantitative requirements but the qualitative elements that were important to us all. She educated us on various options and design elements during this process and even though she offered opinions, she listened and accommodated our desires so that they made both architectural and economic sense. We could not be happier and would recommend DPd to anyone looking to design a home and have an incredible time doing it!

Kirsten was referred to us by a neighbor whose renovation she had completed the previous year. She helped us design and manage the major interior renovation of our 1980s built home while our family of six, plus cat and dog, lived in the residence during the whole process. She is a talented and professional designer with keen, practical, design sense. Throughout the planning and renovation process she listened carefully to what we had to say—often opposing opinions between husband and wife—to come up with highly livable, practical and stylish solutions that blended our ideas and styles. If I had to describe my experience with Dow-Pearce Design in a single word, it would be 'appreciative'. It was evident that Kirsten is passionate about all aspects of design, function as well as aesthetics, but her capacity to listen to our wishes and take the project from drawings to reality exceeded our expectations. Kirsten is an excellent designer with whom I have had the opportunity to work on several projects—both new builds and renovations and including two of my own personal residences.
