Architecture Design and Interior Design

This complete interior renovation created a harmonious home from a large, single-family residence in the desirable University Heights neighborhood in Calgary. The original 1960s bungalow had been added onto twice, resulting in a rambling assortment of rooms and incongruous materials. DPd used transitional styling with a contemporary color palette to create a streamlined flow throughout. The fireplace and hearth area was reworked to become the true heart of the home with the large mudroom, kitchen with full sized fridge and freezer and two dishwashers, and large upper floor laundry–modern day necessities with a house full of teenagers. A full basement overhaul allowed for a gym, spa bathroom, entertainment room and wine cellar.
